SIMPLE LIVING CONCEPTS HAS A NEW LOOK

Simple Living Concepts has a new look. I hope that you like it. I will be adding photos to my articles, and I wanted a new look. This is kind of a bold look, but it works well with photos.

I also wanted to bring everyone up to date on Fifi (our toy poodle). As you know, she had surgery on her torn ligament in her right back leg three weeks ago. She was given Rimadyl (for inflammation), an antibiotic, and a pain medication. After being on these medications for three weeks, she started having diarrhea, vomiting, and became dehydrated and spent last week in the animal hospital. She came home Thursday, but she is not doing good. We were told that she had an ulcer, than pancreatitis, and than Addison’s disease. The test for Addison came back negative Friday. Now, we don’t know and the doctors are still trying to figure out her problem. My husband and I believe it is a reaction to the Rimadyl drug, but we don’t know. We were encouraged when the Doctors were able to get the diarrhea and vomiting stopped; and also they were able to take care of the dehydration. She is eating again, but she is not using her back legs and she cries when we pick her up. We are praying she will get better soon. God Bless. Lyn
